Programming Instructions for Sony Ericsson Ringtones
To create your own melody, you need to follow a special code
system. Every button (1-9) is assigned to one note as shown in the
pictures below. By pressing + you raise the note by one octave. You can
create your melodies using a total of two octaves.

insert notes, where 1 gives a C and 9 a high D. (If you hold down a
key, you make the note long.) |

increase or decrease the pitch in half tone steps.
Press once to sharp (#), twice to flat (b), thrice to get the normal pitch |

insert a short pause (1/8). |

scroll within the melody. Press and hold to get to the beginning or end
of the melody. |

get either a higher or a lower octave for the note you have inserted.
You know it is higher as a plus sign is added in front of the note. |

CLR |
erase the note to the left cursor. If you press and hold CLR,
the whole melody is erased. |
