FAQ for Siemens Ringtones

1.  Locate your ringtone composer

Locate the composer menu by pressing 'Menu' then 'Audio', then 'Record Melody'.

Press and hold the 'c' key (top left) to clear the current melody if one is already shown.


2.  Enter the key press sequence

Once you have located the composer on your phone,  you need to enter the key press sequence.

Now (in the phones composer),  simply type the numbers into your keypad,  the display will show something quite different but don't worry,  as long as you press the keys in the sequence shown,  the tone should go into your phone and play for you.

Where you see (hold) simply hold the key down until the duration is shown on the display.

If you do make a mistake (its quite easy to miss the correct note duration on this phone until you get used to it), Press the 'c' button to go back one note, then enter the last number again, including any preceeding * or # keys.

3. Save the tone

When you have finished, press the 'Hear' button (top right) to play back your tone, then the 'Save' button (top right again) to save this tone to your phone.

If the tone doesn't sound right,  you have probably missed a key so you may wish to try entering the key sequence again.
