I've had this phone for almost a year now and it's by far my favorite cell phone out of the 3 I've had. I'm on the "new-every-2" deal at Verizon, where you get a new cell every 2 years and I'm not sure I'll want to trade this one in next year! The only thing I would change is the battery life, like most of the reviews have mentioned. I've found that charging the battery is usually really fast and even 5 minutes of charging can keep you going for awhile more. Definitely would recommend this phone to anyone, gets awesome reception too. Oh and if you're looking for a phone with a "normal" ring tone, this is it. It's got a few rings that sound just like a normal land-line phone - it's becoming harder to find phones with normal ring tones these days. The rings sound so real, sometimes I don't realize it's my cell phone ringing :)

4.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.0   Sweet display, nice size to hold, poor keyboard
Reviewer: Steve from Cincinnati, Ohio     July 26, 2003
This phone is my favorite so far. The display is awesome (for a phone). I like the slightly larger size of the phone, since it is easier to hold and use - compared to smaller phones. I definitely don't like the short life of the standard-issue battery. I'd recommend getting the largest capacity battery available. Also, the keyboard is dimly lit - though this is not a show stopper. Lastly, the keyboard is recessed (unlike most phones), whereby you need somewhat pointy fingers to push the keys. Again, not a show stopper, but it would be a lot better if the keys were raised like most (all!) other phones.

You want a color screen, You want polyphonics, You want great reception and a phone that screams simple to use, and you want it all under $250.00. So did I. I love this phone. After trying out 5 phones in the past two months (this was the second) I kept finding myself judging all the others on what this one did right and the the others did wrong. Rather it was the rediculous amount of keying you had to do just to get into your phonebook on the nokias, or the poor reception I encounted constantly commutiing from Baltimore MD to surounding areas with the LGs. This phone set the standard. The only thing you'll need is a 1400mah battery kit to make this your worry free cell phone for a year or so. A little pricey but well worth it. Watch for rebates. I ended up paying only $89.00 for this phone.

Reviewer: Shawn from New Port Richey, FL     May 02, 2003
Love everything about the phone. Excellent color, easy to use, great clarity, speakerphone, ringtones, etc.. The only down side of the phone is the stock battery it comes with. Definitely has to be charged nightly with moderate usage. I'm sure this has to do with the color screen.
