I had one of these Kyocera <nobr><a class="iAs" style="border-bottom:darkgreen 1px solid;text-decoration:underline;color:darkgreen;background-color:transparent;" href="#" onclick="return kwC();" target="_blank" oncontextmenu="return false;" onmouseover="kwE(event,219621);" onmouseout="kwL(event);" onmousemove="kwM(219621);">phones</a></nobr> for over 2 years was EXTREMELY impressed with the user-friendliness of the phone as well as the reception from <nobr><a class="iAs" style="border-bottom:darkgreen 1px solid;text-decoration:underline;color:darkgreen;background-color:transparent;" href="#" onclick="return kwC();" target="_blank" oncontextmenu="return false;" onmouseover="kwE(event,219729);" onmouseout="kwL(event);" onmousemove="kwM(219729);">Verizon</a></nobr>. But, alas, work changed providers and I received a new <nobr><a class="iAs" style="border-bottom:darkgreen 1px solid;text-decoration:underline;color:darkgreen;background-color:transparent;" href="#" onclick="return kwC();" target="_blank" oncontextmenu="return false;" onmouseover="kwE(event,219586);" onmouseout="kwL(event);" onmousemove="kwM(219586);">Nokia</a></nobr> 3560 and am now a very disappointed cell user. The Nokia is hard to figure out and the batterly life is a JOKE! My advice, get ANY Kyocera Phone. Powerful yet simple to use. They're people friendly! :)

My husband and I both have this phone. Mine has been repaired once, replaced once, and is in need of repair AGAIN. My husband had to have his replaced today. We have had both phones 9 months and have already had this much trouble with both of them. If I had it to do over, I would definitely not get this phone.

I am well satisfied with this phone. I am still finding new things on it. The only thing I am not satisfied with is when I get close to home I have no service. I live in a small town but I am not far from the city it works very well in.

Kiss my Kyocera

I was recently at the end of my "New Every 2" contract w/Verizon, and having been very pleased with the performance of my old Kyocera, I upgraded to the 2300 series. I did this--even though I could have had a color, camera phone free of charge--because I have never had a complaint w/Kyocera. Even though it is still a little fat for a newer phone, it's lighter than my old one, and made improvements on the features I already loved. Good reception, good GUI, and a kitty.

I got this phone new from eBay. It was set for Sprint however, I had it converted to Verizon and found that it performs exceptionally well under Verizon but Sprint users report terrible performance. The features are also every bit as good as the Rex (Franklin) PDA. While not as good as a Palm Pilot, it doesn't have the bulk of a Palm either. I find the selection of games adequate and the polyphonic sounds a plus. Battery life is varies depending on your usage. If you're going to use this phone for playing games or a flashlight, of course battery life is squat. I found it to be BETTER than a Motorola 7868 I replaced. All in all, this is an excellent tool. Especially at the price.
