At first I thought this phone was awesome but after only two months of taking good care of it Ive had nothing but problems.. First the key pad randomly stopped working and I had to spend $50 to fix it. And now, no one can hear me when i talk they say i sound like im a million miles away but i can hear fine so i guess its the speaker..Im taking this phone tomorrow and fighting with my provider because this is unacceptable for a phone worth over $300. The only good thing on this phone is the camera and picture quality but i have a camera and bought this phone to actually be able to talk on it not to have it look pretty.

A Huge Step Up

After my disastrous experience with the Motorola T720, I swore off Motorolas for life. But when I went to go upgrade, I really wanted a speaker phone and this was the only one they had at the time in stock. I have to admit, the phone is great. the picture quality is so much better than many others I've seen, and t has yet to freeze on me like the T720 used to. I honestly like the design better than the Razr becasue the Razr almost resembles an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper really. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the fact that they reversed the answer and end call buttons on the phone. Other than that, I am so glad I stepped it up!

If you liked the V400, V505, then you'll love the V551

Even though the V551 does not offer a lot of predownloaded polyphonic ringtones, in addition to the rest of the features of V400 and V505 it has added features like video camera, which you can capture special moments. Graphic quality is great! If you can't yet afford the Motorola V3 razor phone, then the V551 is your next best product.
