Bought the T725 in June 2004. Poor reception short battery life. Weak physical design. Have to reboot frequently.

The t725 is well built and sleek, packed with features, and easy to use. None of this completely compensates for the one of the basic things a phone should do: attract your attention when you have an incoming call. At the loudest settings I can't hear it if the phone is in my pocket, but I can certainly hear my wife's nokia from a block away, buried in my kid's diaper bag. On vibrate I can't tell that it is moving unless I am holding it in my hands. My worn out ps1 controller has more rumble than this.
I was disappointed in Motorola engineering this time. I would try another Motorola product, but only because I've had several M brand phones that have done very, very well.

I can type in a text message on the suncom.com site and not 5 seconds later, I hear Peter Tosh singing legalize it on my phone to let me know I have a messsage. It's like that every time. I never get dropped. I get the ability to use mp3s as ringtones. And, plenty of memory allows more than a couple of tunes. My only regret is that there is not support for OS-X mac users such as myself. Otherwise, i could happily wring all the good out of this phone and be a happy camper. With the camera add-on, I can take pics. With the always on connection, I can send them quickly. This phone rox. And all in a small package. It's very close to the integrated phone/pda/jukebox/arcade I wish was here already. Get one. Do it.

The motorola T725 is one of the worst phones I have ever had in my life. T725 has a few bugs that need to be worked out, you cannot have one complete conversation because it always drops, text messages are never recieved on time... you have to turn the phone off and turn it back on before you start getting your text messages. I do not reccommend anyone to purchase this phone!!! Do not buy a motorola phone... stick with Nokia!!
