I had this phone for 1 1/2 yrs before it was stolen and I never once had a problem. The only way to make this phone better would be to add vibrate feature so not to disturb co-workers. Other then that it was a great phone.

Yes, drop this phone over and over and over and it will still work. Infact, you should drop it and smash the thing with a hammer, and buy a new one, because in a year you'll wish you had. There is a KNOWN BUG with this phone that they don't want you to know about. After a year (conviently after your contract is up) when you turn the phone off, it will NEVER TURN ON AGAIN. Countless others have had the same experience. If you have, never turn the thing off, and if you don't, then stay far away from it!!!! Search "Nokia 1260 won't turn on" on google for the horror stories. **APOC, A Piece, Of, Crap.**

I've had this phone for a while. The more time went by, the more I realized how much this phone sucks. The buttons are really loud so whenever I would text somebody the noise just got annoying. It was very, VERY inconvenient to change covers because you needed a special kind of tool to take off the front cover, so whatever you front cover you had you were pretty much stuck with. The phone didn't vibrate so if my phone was on silent I had to check it every couple minutes to be sure I didn't miss a call or get a text message. There was no volume adjustment so if I was talking to somebody on the phone I couldn't hear what they were saying unless I was in a quiet place. Like others have said, it's pretty indestructable. You can throw it and drop it and its still intact. A good thing about it was that it was really easy to download ringtones. I now have polyphonic ringtones and its really inconvenient to download (I still haven't figured out how). Would I recommend this phone to a friend? Definately not!

This phone, while simple, fits my needs perfectly. It is almost damage proof, I have dropped it numerous times with hardly any damage. The phone did have a power supply problem, which after consulting my serivce provider, was covered and free to repair. Not a bad phone at all

I think this phone is great for a person who has never owned a cell phone. Like what everyone else says, you can drop it, and i wont really do a whole lot of damage. Yeah, it's kind of dumb that it doesn't have vibrate, but hey, at least it is a phone

this phone is ok for first time cell phone owners. the only prblem i have 2 say is that the screen is not color. it is the ideal phone to download ringtones on but there is a limit of 10 slots(ten ringtone slots) for this phone which makes it hard to choose which ones to keep.

I've had this phone for almost a year. It started a few months back to have problems with the internal intena. I would press send to call the number and it would just sit there saying "Calling Friend..." for a few seconds then beep 4 times, and then return to the main screen. It would do this like 4 or 5 times in a row. O and i could get better service by hitting it on the side of the phone. When i talk to people it is very hard to hear them talking and apparently they can't hear me too well either. AT&T doesn't help at all either. I have a warranty and they say send it in with $15 and they'll fix it. Altho if you do decide to change the faceplate, be sure to put your old one back on b/c apparently it exposes the motherboard or whatever and your carrier probably will make you warrant invalid if they find out you did so. I HATE THIS PHONE!!!
