I just bought this phone, and it's one of the best TDMA phones on the market. With everyone going "Next Generation" this phone offers a lot of the same features with more battery life than any of the GSM (G3, Next Generation, etc.) phones that I saw. I switched from a Samsung (also switched from Sprint PCS to Suncom) to this, and I'm quite pleased with it.

I like the phone itself a lot. My housemates each have a different Nokia and mine is the only one that will get a decent signal inside our house. The battery-life is amazing, too. This phone works very well and has a decent number of features for those of us who use our phones mainly for calling people.
The only downside is the current lack of download support on the web for ringtones, graphics, etc for this phone. This is the only website I've found that allows you to download polyphonic ringtones to it (and that includes both the AT&T site and Nokia sites, which still do not have this phone listed as an option). I have not yet found any sites for color wallpapers.
I guess my only real complaint is with AT&T not being prepared to support this phone yet...but the phone is great.

I really like the color dispplay of the phone. And I always have wonderful reception. I love the idea of polyphonic ringtones- but I don't know how to download any of these types of ringtones. For anyone who has actually downloaded these tones please email me and let me know how. Overall I really enjoy this phone.

WAP and Voice commands
|

Cingular and AT&T (AWS) both sell this phone, however only Cingular supports WAP and the rate is only 9600 bps. That's WAP - It's limits are 9600 or 14,400 and that's it.
You can find some free games from Spruce: http://wap.spruce.jp
Also Cingular offers some ringtones and games starting at $2 and $4 respectively.
Voice Dialing: Select a contact - Options - Add voice tag Start - say "Call Home" for example Recording stops automatically. Then to use press and hold the Contacts softkey from the main screen. Speak the name. Phone displays the number to be dialed and then dials that number.
You can add voice tags to do other commands as well. Menu - Voice - Voice Commands

Nice color, but broke in 3 weeks

Color is nice, but too big and started a number of ring/ talk problems after 3 weeks. Battery life good. Annoying delay between pressing button and response. Signal no better than my old 8260 - despite "4-5 bars" it was often difficult to talk.

This phone is bigger than my old nokia 3360, it has better sound, and yes, you can get polyphonic ringtonesfrom this website, trust me, i have them. The bad: To large, can't find free graphics for the wallpaper... and the games are kind of confusing, but other than that its a great color TDMA phone!
