this is my second phone I've had (the other an 8270) and I thought the other phone was better. well, I was wrong. this gives me excellent signal, and longer battery life. it is also the perfect alarm for you. I reccomend it to anyone who wants a cell phone, but don;t take my word for it. I've only had it since mid October, as to the other fo 11 months.

ive had this phone for just under a month now. great battery, bright, good sound quality. however, the ringer has gone on my phone twice now!!! i've had service since july 3rd(today is the 25th of july) and im on my third phone! i even put my ringer volume down when i got my second phone and it still went out on me. i thought i got a lemon when my first phone did this and now im really starting to think it was just a poor design.

This phone has the perfect size and weight. Not too teeny and not big and bulky. I love the ring tones and games. It does just what a phone should do, without all the unneccassary extras. I have had no problems with the reception at all, after owning it for 2 months, I forgot it even had an antenna because I never have to use it. The best thing, in my opinion, is the brightness of the light. If the phone rings at 3am, "I couldn't find the phone" will never be the REAL reason you don't answer.

Comfortable (of course), advanced, and somewhat funky.

As owner of several other Nokia phones on the Cricket network (51xx, 8270, 6370), I can say that this phone is by far my favorite. It is not too large or bulky, does not have any ugly antennas sticking up out of it (unless you want to, it does have an extendable whip antenna), it is just a comfortable size. The keypad layout is uniquely Nokia, and has a nice rubbery feel without being too sensitive. Quite durable for a hard rubber-based keypad. I especially like the cool white LEDs/backlighting on this phone, and the translucent side panels and speaker bit which light up along with the keypad and screen. It all lends to a very space-techy feel on this new phone. It looks especially delicious with some of the OEM Nokia faceplates in a shiny/glittery paint, I've seen the blue, red, and green, and personally I use the blue one. My friends ogle over it. Some of the nicest features of this phone are the polyphonic ringtones (loving it, I'll never go back to buzzers!), larger screen, Nokia's Pop-Port connector (check out their Pop-Port over the ear headset, it's a true innovation), as well as some simple software improvements here and there. I can finally categorize my phonebook according to the people, and not have to have multiple entries for those with home, work, and mobile phones; there are caller groups. There's voice dialing. Customizable T9 dictionary. Downloadable Java applications support, some new games, and even (for future use) a webbrowser and pseudo-email client. It's not color, and it doesn't have Bluetooth or an FM radio or a camera, but it is a very great little phone, especially for the $120-130 price range!

Some might say this phone is great with its 75! ring tones but i think it is not all that special because it is basically a newly designed 5160. I do not like this phone personally. it has normal reception, sometimes i notice i Do have to stand by a window just to call some one. I WOULD recommend the Nokia 8265. this is my new phone and it has great reception and a neat blue light instead of that dull green. I would give the 8265 a 6 STAR RATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
