poor battery life

I have had this phone for 6 months. Battery lasts one day max! Had a 5165 and battery lasted days. Just switched to a 3285 and this battery lasts 5 days. Sent the 3586i phone back to nokia, worked with my service provider, and purchased a new battery. Still poor battery life. Could not wait to get rid of it.

Ok for start, I like to say it's a cool cell phone, sadly the display size(96x65) is 2 little at least for me, the colors seems to be okay, but the screens get sometimes unreadable in sunlight conditions.
The ringtones are just 4 chords, but it's ok, at least they are pretty loud, compared to others polyphonic cell phones. The only thing I don't like is that ugly screensaver, and that is too large and heavy, for me, also sometimes it turn off, and its quite fragile, the face plate is not resistant it has some cracks with just 2 falls, and the battery life last 5 days if u don't use it, but if u used too much, it will just last like 1 to 3 days.
The only way too add, ringtones u download has custome tone, is with 2 programs, u can contact me at my mail, cdelgado_r86@hotmail.com

Alright, I've had this phone for a little over a year. It's a pretty decent phone. Great colour, good battery life, great backlight. I've only had to take it in once, got it back 3 or 4 days later. The only thing that sucks about it, is that you can't really get ringtones unless you download them from your wireless web or get that data cable (which is like $50 here).
Overall though, it's a good phone, I recommend it. :)

Hehe, for those saying its horrible, and rating it 0/1.. well thats because your stupid... Never had any problems with mine, and im goin on 7 months.
Battery life seems to hold for days if inactive, but if you do use it often, including anything that makes the phone light up, it seems to have a 1-2 hour limit.
So girls, perhpas this isnt your phone.. :p

I really don't know why all you people are saying this phone is good, I have had mine since X-mas and I already have had to take it into the shop for not sending messages, dropping calls, and not receiving them. I didn't mistreat it, and it screwed up by itself. I HATE THIS PHONE!! As soon as I get a new phone, hopefully very soon, I am going to throw this one off a bridge, after I smack it with a sledgehammer.

this is a great phone, but there is one problem. Battery life. i have had mine for almost a year and if you use this phone as much as i have, then you will have to buy several batteries.

great phone. I read earlier reviews and people only complain about ringtones. I personally find them annoying. So, a simple beep is usually enough.
A cell phone is just that, a phone... enough with thoise aooying ringtones!

this phone is reliable so far. i have had tis phone for about 10 days now. I feel that the reception is superior over any motorola phone i ever had. the only thing that it dont do is when it goes into screen saver and the nice big clock comes up, it remains black and i cant seem to turn on just the backlight for this screen saver. once you touch a button it goes to phone operation anyone help?
the calculator is kinda tricky they could have improved this feature, but it has a stopwatch and the calendar is great it shows the whole month, great phone..
