i bought this phone to replace the phone I had before. I have no signal problems when im outside or on the top floor. I spent 200 dollars on this phone though because it said I could download ringtones and wallpapers and games and that sort. I have put an unreal amount of time in researching for ringtones that go well with my phone. Only monophonic ringtones work and they dont even sound right. I bought the phone for POLYphonic ringtones, thank you. I cant wait till either good ringtones come out for this phone or I get a different phone thats not a nokia.

I bought this phone to replace a 8260 that I've been using for 4 years on ATT that was rock solid. This phone has much better reception and similar features that you would find on a GSM phone. I won't go to ATT GSM because I need reliable service so this was my only option because of it's size. Most other TDMA phones are bricks! You can download the phone suite software from Nokia's site and sync up apps, games and your contacts. The only fault I have with this phone is the removable faceplates. They are a little "Rickety" Personally I think phones that dont have removable plates are built a little more solid. This phone will be a keeper until I'm ready to move over to GSM in about another year!

I was able to get rigtones on my phone by using my IR port on my laptop and software called Mobile Media Browser. I uploaded graphics and ringtones. Even some of my own personal Pics. The ringtones were MIDI files I found for free online. If you don't have an IR port, you can purchase one online.

I was so excited to get my new phone, only $50 with a new agreement. Okay! So I got this one and my family got the one that was free. Well mine keeps freezing and is not getting a good signal when theirs is fine. Continually i am told No suppost system for my txt. Frusterating! If it wasn't little and so darn cute I'd want to scream!

Paid 200 dollars on sale and had to sign on for another year, all this just to find out that no sir you cant download new ringtones,or wall paper. But hey thanks for buying our phone. >:( and the phone wont accept my new security code

I too wanted Poly Tones for my phone. No one seems to offer them for this phone or you have to have Internet on your phone to download. SunCom has NOTHING to offer. Nokia has a great phone here. It is sleek and a good phone but Nokia should have done a better job making sure they could provide faceplates, tones, and graphics!

I received this phone a few days after Christmas and although I like it better than my previous phone, its not exactly top of the line. I agree that the lighting on the side numbers is dull. I also hate that you cannot customize it with faceplates and wallpapers. Sometimes when I am playing games the screen jumps and I am unsure why, but it has only happened when I was playing games; so far. Other than that, this phone is pretty good. I'll be happier when you can customize more. Although, I paid over $150, and I believe that is too much.

this fone is great. its my 3rd nokia and the best one yet. i love the colour screen, the speakerphone is great and has good sound properties. the only complaint i have is my service provider doesnt use WAP yet, (l8r this year they say), and becuz of this i cant use half of the fones features, like more wallpapers and polyphonic ringtones, java games and apps.
