I think the above speaks for itself. I have never submitted a negative review before, I am usually easy to please. The Better Buisness Bureau should shut this company down. The hinges are MENT to break after several months and you are forced to buy a new phone or cough up a $50 deductable for a phone that's not worth two cents. Your "contract" wont release you until two years are up (lets see..2 years times 4 equals 8 crappy phones@ $50 a pop) .......Where is my hammer?

this phone is a piece of crap. i got it as a christmas present last year and 3 days later, it started actin' up. it kept freezin' and i had to take it back to the store to get a new one and then two weeks later, that "new phone" started actin' up. the ringtones suck and they are so low that u can barely hear them. even the vibrator is low and that stutters sometimes. the plastic clip that came with my phone broke and to make things worse it broke the top piece of my phone. they should really recall this phone and give me a new one because i am having too many problems with this phone and apparently every one else is too. this phone sux and i would advise you not to get this phone.

First off the user interface is a real pain in the buttocks So forget about using any of its features like voice dial, its just too much of a hassle. Second its hard to keep it from flying out your hand. third it shocks the hell out of you if you try talking while charging witch you will need to do because the battery don't hold a charge worth a shit.. The games also suck but its a phone so who cares rite.. it relly can't store much info as well.. Calls get dropped more often than I like to see and now its not working any more.. thats rite it just stopped working.. when I take out & put in the battery it just says its in downloading mode. it went into it one day while I was talking to somebody. I herd a slight pop and it said downloading mode on the screen.. so i took the battery out and after a few times it came on and I was able to take a call but after about 1 mim i was back in download mode and am still stuck in it.. Sometimes i can take out the battery and it will start but after 20 or so seconds its back at it.. All and all i really dont have enough space to say everything wrong with it but I can tell you all that the negative reviews are all the truth.. it gives headaches, runs hot , shocks you, scratches easy, cracks abd the pivot point, is hard to use, and overall is the worst functioning cell phone I have ever owned.

I don't understand all the complaints. I've had my phone for several months with no problems at all. The only time I noticed it getting hot is when I had the backlight turned on the entire time the folder was open. Once I changed that, it didn't get hot. I have to agree, I would like to be able to download ringtones which is why I took off a star. But, overall it is a very good phone

In the last year and a half I've been through 4 of these phones. The only fortunate thing about the entire situation is that I haven't had to pay for one of them due to clerical errors on the part of Verizon.
#1 The first phone suddenly started burning power at an alarming rate around 6 months into my contract. My phone would be fully charged in the morning and by 4:00 pm would be completely out of juice. This was occuring without me using the phone at all. Luckily I noticed that this was occurring while I was still under the manufacturer warenty and Verizon agreed to replace the battery rather than the whole phone.
The reception on this phone was not bad however, and it allowed me to speak in my home which is difficult for most cariers and phones in my area.
#2 About 6 months later, the phone started burning through juice again so I returned it for a new phone.
The new phone's battery worked well except I no longer had reception in areas where I was once able to speak (ie. home, office etc.) and I was getting dropped all over the place. After about 6 months it started brning through juice again and I took it back to Verizon and I complained about the reception and the battery. They asked if I had updated the phone to align it with the new towers in my area. I replied that I had not and they offered to check the phone out for me. After checking they said that my phone had old software and that I was eligible for a new phone because I was still under waranty. I didn't ask any questions and took the new phone for free.
#3 The next day I found myself at the Verizon store again. This phone was burning through juice and had terrible reception. It had a weird buzzing echo in the background as well. After waiting for an hour in Verizon I spoke with a customer service rep. that said these phones were all defective and he could change me to a different phone but he had to order it. I thanked him and he said that he would call in a couple of days. He never did so I went back to the store a week later.
#4 I was excited to return this phone because I could only speak on it while it was charging which was annoying. When I arrived I asked for the rep. who I had spoken with, he of course was not available. So, I explained to the current rep. what the problems were with the phone and he said that he'd never seen anything like it. I explained that I had already returned 3 phones for similar issues and that the last rep. who I spoke with the week before had said that the phones were defective and that he was going to order a new phone model all togeter. This rep. explained that they could not exchage the phone for a different model and if I wanted a different phone that I would have to buy it. He agreed to exchage the phone for the same model.
Here I am three weeks into my forth free phone. It get hot during 10 minute conversations, I don't have reception at my home or in my office, it drops me all over town and my * button is almost broken. I have around 5 months before I can switch phones under a new 2 year contract. Wish me luck...

I purchased this phone a little over a year ago. I don't talk all day like an idiot so I haven't had much problem with it getting hot. The ring tones do suck so I left in on the standard tone. I live in a rural area and the reception used to be marginal at best. It used to drop calls as well. Fortunately, it doesn't do any of these things anymore because it won't even power up now. I guess it just decided a year was all it could take. The only thing worse than these piece of crap phone is the insurance I purchased from Verizon. All is well though, I get to throw the phone in the trash today and Verizon in two more months. My recommendation for this phone....shut it off....keep it in your car....and the next time you drive across a beautiful country bridge, stop, admire the sights, and then throw the #&%@# in the water.

i got this phone about 1 year ago. it is alright, but i have had the same ringtones on my phone for a while, and they start to get annoying, it kinda stinks that you cant download anything. All i need is a cell phone where u can answer calls and make calls, thats it. i have only had the phone freeze up on me once, but it does echo alot.

We have two of these phones. As far as a cell phone goes, they're not that bad, folks!! They get a little warm, and they don't hold up so well under conditions where they may get smashed, but that's really no reason to complain. It's never burned me or anything, and when the household teenager managed to break his somehow Verizon kindly offered to replace it, and even held a phone until he could get there to pick it up. It recieves, it calls, what else do you want from these phones?? If you want to hear songs go buy a CD player. The ringtones are fine, I've never had a problem knowing that someone was calling unless I was in a loud environment, and then a different ringtone wouldn't have made a difference anyway. My phone has never locked up, never dropped a call, nothing! Just remember that it's a cell phone; it's not perfect, but I've yet to see one that is. .
