DROPPED CALLS ARE ABUNDANT WITH THIS BEAUTY! THE ONLY GOOD FEATURE IS THE ALARM CLOCK AND IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL EVEN IT WILL MALFUNCTION IF RECEPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE. HEAR YE HEAR YE, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!! EVEN A DEAF PERSON WOULD BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PHONE!!!!!!

I got this phone because Sprint wouldn't replace my broken phone with another one. It is the worst phone ever! I have lost minutes because of how much this phone drops my calls. Its terrible. Do not buy it! ....even if it is your last resort!

i bought the phone in january because they told me my old phone had a problem but it is still going on with this phone, i am on roming in my house i know that might have to do with service but my dad has the same service and he never has that problem. also you can't find any ringtones for the thing, you can't text message, the games are dull, i do like the calander, calculator, and flip feature though.

The phone is great. It's beautiful.. the bright blue lights are great. The games are fun. The ringtones are unique. I couldn't ask for anything more in a phone..
.. oh wait.. there is the small problem of DROPPING EVERY CALL I EVER MAKE. It shows 4 bars of service, but when I'm using it, the signal always fades and always drops the call. Its not my phone company, b/c others on the same service can get calls where I can't. And of course, this always happens when I need my phone the most.
.. and then there's the turning itself off. Apparently, it goes into powersave mode when it can't find service for longer than 15 minutes. Which is fine. But then I noticed that it turns itself off. Which is also fine.. except.. it doesn't turn itself back on.. so if I don't notice that its off, it can stay off all day long and I'll never know I'm missing 50,000 important calls.
So if you don't plan on using the phone, then its great. People say "oooh cool phone!" And it is a cool phone. But it doesn't work.

Crap Reception

This phone is cool looking and has nice menus and sound, but the reception is awful, it cuts your calls off like no other, it's really frustrating, it has always performed very poorly when I needed it most, sometimes it is simply unusable, cutting out calls after five seconds repeatedly but showing full signal.

Way better than Kyocera!

I've been thru 3 different Kyocera phones... Each of them went out in one way or another. The day before I flew out to NYC for New Year's I got my last one and it died on the 30th. I was mad that I couldn't call anybody. When I got back I got the Samsung N240. It hasn't given me one bit of trouble. I'm 19 so my phones have to be hardy. I also live out in the middle of nowhere so they have to have a good signal. It's been 5 months with no trouble. Kyocera is terrible and Samsung is awesome. Just thought I'd save you guys the problems I had.

This is a very fun phone to have it comes with a variety of ringtones and a couple games. It has a lot of space in it for storage but it is not easy to find ringtones for this phone but you have to shop around. That is that ony downside of the phone. If you are in a loud room turn the phone on high vibrate and and high ring. But overall it is a cool phone to have it is very futuristic looking also.

I have been disappointed in this phone since my company assigned it to me. It has poor reception, being that when you are talking on the phone, it reduces the sensitivity of the receive causing the phone to drop calls. My company uses hundreds of these phones, but are replacing them with Kyocera. The phone also has no option for a standard ringtone, and comes with a poor selection of ringtones. I have yet to find a ringtone site that supports this phone. The ringer is too soft to hear in a noisy room, and the vibrator is weak. I have ordered my replacement phone, and can't wait to get rid of the n240.
