I have had the phone for a couple of mounths now and it has packed it in. The intrface crashes continously and it regularly shuts its self off. You can't hear the phone ring while it's in your pocket or if there is any thing against the little speaker hole.

A small, lightweight phone with many features. Some of the disappointments are that I can't hear it ringing, just not loud enough, while Polyphonic ringtones really do sound like a distant radio playing. Can't store two or three number under one name (home, cell, office). Typing address info that is long will not show when reviewing in the address book. Battery life in so-so coverage areas depletes a tad fast. T9 text input, especially adding period, commas, etc. are not as fast as other phones. Some of the great features is the voice dialing and command. Able to record outside sounds, voice etc. and even use as a ringtone. Can set anykey to a specfic command or number.

This phone is tiny and full of features. The T9 predictive text input is awesome. Yet I have one major gripe. I can hear the darned thing ringing! It has all sorts of fancy polyphonic ringtones, well they all blend into the background! Most of them sound like a distant radio. I miss calls all the time because of it. I also found the rigntone download from ATT to be a rip. No help and no refund if no tone was received. The phone also seems to keep losing the time setting and resetting to an incorrect time zone. I also find that when many of my calls are dropped and it suddenly beeps very loudly in my ear! How about making that a ringtone Siemens? I can certainly hear it!

I have had the C56 for about 2 monthes & really have enjoyed it. The only problem I am having is connecting to MMode with AT&T. None of the reps at AT&T nor their tech support can seem to fix this problem. It has been a bit frustrating but I am not even sure if the problem lies with the phone itself or with the carrier. Other than that, I love the C56!!!!

I have owned the Siemens C56 for four months now and have been pleasantly impressed. Loaded with features like voice-activated dialing and voice-activated features, speakerphone, WAP browsing and more, not to mention how easy it is to use. Very navigable menu system with an amazing amount of options. Great phone and I still can't get over the price!

The Siemens C56 is my first cell phone, but it is PERFECT! Im not supposed to have it in school (I can get suspended for it) but I just put it in my pocket and set it to vibrate. I text message my friends (who carry theirs with them too) all day. Its so small, it fits right in my pocket without any teachers noticing. Overall, this phone is GREAT period.
