This phone is horrible. I work at a National Cellular service company and we can't even give them away. Ericsson is just horrible period.

I really enjoyed owning the Sony Ericsson T226..While it lasted. The color screen, games and ability to purchase ringtones added to the pleasure in owning this phone. The service improved a emmensly while I owned this phone. The only thing I have to complain about is the lifespan of it. My friend and I both purchased this phone eight months ago and within two weeks, both of our screens had blacked out and the sound was not working. I was still able to recieve and make calls. Granted I am very rough with my phones. Sony was going to replace it for free though. I decided not to follow through since I got it for free and AT&T replaced it with the Samsung flip phone. Excellent customer service. All in all, this is a very fun unique phone. One of my favorites thus far.

i had battery problems with this phone...everytime i would buy a new battery it would die a few days after. other than that everythin is awesome

The T226 is very compact and light weight. The sound quality overall is pretty good. the reception ranges from really good to weak depending on your location. for some reason in my house i get a very weak signal however in some peoples basements i got suprisingly good reception! It comes with several Polyphonic ringtones and some graphics and themes and the color screen is one of the best i have seen to date on a phone this small. my only real gripes with this phone is a lack of an IR port and a weak web browser.
